CAKE FOR BREAKFAST but it's a cupcake once again
I promise I'll write a full ass newsletter soon. (lol "promise." That's more like a threat.) In the meantime, you can get your fill of my face tonight at the Pop-Up Magazine Spring Issue premiere. Pop-Up Magazine is usually a live show with stories told by comedians, writers, journalists, gorgeous authors with incredible bone structure, etc. The stories are accompanied by original music, animation, dance, wild hand gesturing, etc. Because we can't gather in groups in person—please, stop gathering in groups in person!!!—Pop-Up is having their first virtual show with tonight's At-Home issue.
The video premieres tonight at 8 pm CST on YouTube. I'll be watching at home and will maybe talk about it on my Instagram Stories if that's...okay to say? If you don't want to hear my extremely midwestern voice, come to hear pieces from people like Alyssa Limperis, Mohanad Elshieky, and Donte Colley.
As penance for self-promo, here are some other things that may be of interest to you:
Season 9 of "Married At First Sight" is on Netflix and it's a show where, as the title suggests, people are paired up by matchmakers and then...don't meet until their literal wedding day. Amazing! Incredible! I've watched 12 hours of the show over the past two days!!!
This TikTok saw me through a rollercoaster of emotions in less than 7 seconds.
I talked to experts about why it's still not safe to go to bars and restaurants for Bustle. Feel free to send it to your relatives :) :) :)
